The derlon is well-located on a nice square in the old city. We really loved our one-bedroom apartment. It was spacious and quiet. The staff was friendly, especially jay, who was super helpful.

The breakfast area featured a amazing backdrop of Roman ruins.
While my room was spacious, the decor felt quite outdated and could use a refreshing update.

We prefer to have a proper double bed rather than singles pushed together.

Very convenient/central location.
The concept of having a bathroom door in frosted glass that doesn't lock and has the word bathroom etched out in big bold letters - effectively defeating the purpose of the frosting - needs to be re-examined! Fairly basic look and feel of the furniture and fittings in the room and bathroom. No double beds - not even queen size. Joining two single beds is definitely not the same thing.

stylish, stylish, stylish
The spacious layout allowed for a perfect evening unwind, and the location near the charming square made exploring effortless. I adored visiting the unique breakfast room, which features nice Roman ruins-what a way to start the day!
100% recommend 😍❤️

Enchanting venue with amazing location right by town centre, the many cafes in the neighborhood, and main shopping area and Andre Rieu concert and excellent breakfast. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the deluxe double room, plus complimentary WiFi, a plasma-screen TV, and a coffee maker. Particularly good views and a nice design. Terrific service, super-friendly and very pleasant staff.

The One-Bedroom Apartment was a gem! Spacious and super quiet, perfect for downtime. The location was a major plus, right in the heart of Maastricht. Just a bummer about the slow Wi-Fi in bed and missing air-con during the warmth.

The breakfast setting next to the Roman ruins was just stunning! 🎉 the room felt outdated, and we faced some noise disruptions throughout the night.

Loved its location and the fact it was built on historical, Roman ruins.
Woke up a bit late, due to time difference and was told i could no longer partake in the complimentary breakfast..

The Derlon was very accomodating when we needed an extra night and also needed to add an extra person to our room due to a medical emergency. The staff were all quite nice and helpful. Room was clean, very nice. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet, we slept well. Location was great, and once we figured out how to work the Nespresso machine, it was good as well! I would not choose it as a family hotel, though. Better for couples.
The only things we did not like, and they were small things, was that the bathroom door was glass and let all the light out. It was difficult to get ready and not wake up everyone in the room. Also, another small issue was the coffee in the morning. Self-service coffee at breakfast would be better. As Americans, we like a couple of nice size cups in the morning, and the Derlon serves one small cup. It is possible to ask for more, but....otherwise the breakfast was very nice.

The location is unbeatable, sitting in a bustling square. The breakfast area next to Roman ruins adds a unique touch.
Rooms are outdated with dark, dreary decor, lacking in basic amenities. The bathroom space was cramped, and there were complaints about cleanliness. Noise disturbances from outside are noticeable, especially at night.

Loved the location! Just a few blocks from the main square, it was close enough to enjoy the shopping and great restaurants, but still had a quaint city-square feel. Staying over a weekend, it had the city-feel we wanted but the relaxing peace and calm we needed. It had the modern amenities and cleanliness on the inside with the old-world charm on the outside. The hotel staff was friendly and always helpful whether it was a restaurant recommendation or just calling our family a taxi (at any time). I would definitely recommend it even the exacting or demanding person.
